Single-physician regenerative medicine office in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Office Towers

Stem Cell & PRP Institute of L.A. is a solo regenerative medicine practice run by Dr. Padra Nourparvar, a board-certified osteopathic physician. The office is Suite 545E in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Office Towers at 8631 West 3rd Street, on the Los Angeles side of the Beverly Hills line, and it draws most of its local patients from Westwood, Santa Monica, Bel Air and Brentwood. Nourparvar states that he evaluates and treats every patient himself, placing injections under ultrasound or fluoroscopic guidance rather than handing procedures to other providers. The bulk of the caseload is orthopedic: knee and hip arthritis, rotator cuff and labral tears, disc and facet pain, tendinopathy and sports injuries. Alongside it the practice runs a smaller autoimmune and systemic programme, and inflammatory bowel disease is the part of it the clinic has written about most, with a condition page and two long-form articles on Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. What is offered for IBD is intravenous mesenchymal cells given systemically rather than into the bowel, sometimes paired with platelet-rich plasma. Cells come either from the patient, harvested by a small fat aspiration or a bone marrow draw, or from screened donated umbilical cord blood and Wharton's jelly tissue. Exosomes, shockwave therapy, prolotherapy, autologous conditioned serum, IV nutrient infusions and adipose banking for later use round out the menu, and there is a substantial men's health, hair and aesthetics side to the practice as well. None of this is FDA-approved for these uses and the clinic says so plainly in its own site disclosure. There is no published price list, insurance does not pay for the therapies, and the practice publishes no protocol detail, dosing or outcome data of its own for the IBD programme, so the specifics are set at consultation. Out-of-state and international patients start with a telehealth visit and are usually able to complete evaluation and treatment inside a two to three day trip.

No published price list. Every plan is quoted after an in-person or telehealth consultation, and the total depends on the cell source, whether a fat or bone marrow harvest is involved, and how many sessions are planned. Insurance does not cover the therapies.

4.7out of 5 on Google from 23 ratings
A small listing with a high score. Two threads run through it. Parents of autistic children describe careful explanation of risks and early behavioural changes, and orthopedic patients describe ultrasound guided injections for shoulders, hips and knees. Several note the price is high while saying they would do it again. Dr. Nourparvar performs the procedures himself and reviewers notice.
