How the matching works

Four inputs, weighted in the order they actually matter. Condition carries the most weight, because a clinic that does not treat your condition is not a near miss, it is the wrong clinic. Treatment type comes next, then destination, then budget. Budget is weighted lowest of the four on purpose: a published price range is an opening figure rather than a quote, and ranking it above clinical fit would put the cheapest clinic at the top of a list for a condition it does not treat.

Anything you leave blank is left out of the calculation rather than counted against a clinic. Answer only the condition and the score you see is a fair read of condition fit alone. That also means a shortlist built on one answer is a weaker shortlist, which is why the panel says how many criteria it used.

What the match percentage means

It is the share of your criteria a clinic meets, and nothing more. Ninety percent does not mean a ninety percent chance of a good outcome, that the clinic is any good, or that the treatment works. It means the clinic ticks most of the boxes you described. The result panel prints what each clinic missed for exactly this reason: a list showing only the hits reads as an endorsement of every row on it, including the third one that is there because nothing better existed.

When nothing in the directory meets everything you asked for, the panel says so and shows the nearest partial matches instead of quietly pretending they are full ones. Usually widening the destination is enough to fix it.

Placement in these results is not for sale

The ranking uses your four answers, then rating and review count to break ties. A clinic's listing plan, its featured flag and its position in the directory have no effect on it at all. Paid placement elsewhere on this site is labelled where it appears; here there is none to label, because a tool that says "these three fit what you described" while sorting by who paid would be selling advertising dressed as advice.

What to do with a shortlist

Treat it as three profiles worth reading properly, not three recommendations. Before contacting any of them, get the specifics in writing: what cells, from what source, how many, who performs the procedure and what their qualifications are, what the price covers and what it does not, what happens if there is a complication after you fly home, and what the clinic will and will not claim about results. A clinic that answers all of that plainly has told you more than any match score can.

Nothing you enter is sent anywhere. The quiz runs in your browser against a list built into the page, there is no form to submit, no email to hand over, and no record kept of what you selected.

This quiz answers immediately and asks for nothing: you see the shortlist, you read the profiles, you contact whoever you want on your own terms. The guided match asks the same questions plus a timeframe and your contact details, and puts you in front of clinics rather than the other way around.
