About Stemulus Innovative Healthcare

Stemulus Innovative Healthcare works out of a medical building on East Missouri Avenue in central Phoenix. It is a naturopathic practice as much as a regenerative one, and the treatment list reflects that: cell infusions, platelet-rich plasma, prolotherapy, IV rejuvenation, and a microneedling protocol the clinic calls StemClear. Stemulus says it has treated more than 2,500 patients across the United States and Europe. Diabetes is one of the conditions it runs a dedicated program for, covering both type 1 and type 2. The stated aim is narrow and worth reading carefully: to help the body produce and process insulin better. It is supportive care, not a substitute for insulin, metformin, or anything else an endocrinologist has a patient on. The cells are mesenchymal, and the clinic's material points to human umbilical cord blood as the source. Its own pages acknowledge that the evidence is still thin, citing research that calls for large multi-center, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies before this becomes routine therapy. The rest of the condition list runs to peripheral and diabetic neuropathy, COPD, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, stroke recovery, heart disease, osteoarthritis, and sports injuries. Most procedures are outpatient with little downtime. Stemulus treats adults only. Jaime Ewald is chief medical officer and the clinic's lead provider. She is a naturopathic physician, a graduate of the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, and an adjunct professor there. The clinic states on its own site that stem cell therapy is not an FDA-approved treatment and is not intended to resolve any condition, disease, or injury on its own.

Experience

Dr. Jaime Ewald at Stemulus is the most intelligent, progressive doctor that I have ever met. She integrates body physiology with natural healing techniques and gets results. In the time I have been under her care, I have never felt better.

Experience

Great staff, however I didn't experience any changes at all after receiving treatment here. I've heard so much about stem cell therapy and thought this would help me a lot. However I didn't. Very Dissatisfied especially for the money I spent and the travel it took for me to get there, and I didn't like that they didn't give you a follow up call or email.

Experience

Stan, Dr. Lane, and Dr. Ewald were amazing! Their kindness, positivity, and honesty was overwhelming. They were down to earth and made us feel so comfortable. We appreciated all of the information we received as well. We drove all the way from Reno so my father-in-law could receive stem cell treatment for a TBI.

Reddit discussion

Too little discussion to characterise

Reddit has no discussion of this Phoenix clinic. Searches for the clinic name, the name plus review, and its chief medical officer returned nothing that names the practice. The few hits for the word Stemulus refer to unrelated things, such as a climbing route and an Albuquerque education center.
