Two things are worth knowing before you call. All three providers are naturopathic physicians and Wood also holds a chiropractic degree; there are no MDs or DOs on staff. And the highest-volume procedure in the building is not orthopedic at all, it is the stellate ganglion block, which Wood has performed more than 3,000 times for PTSD, dysautonomia, POTS, and long COVID. He teaches ultrasound-guided regenerative injection technique for the Hackett Hemwall Patterson Foundation and the European School of Prolotherapy and Regenerative Medicine. A polarised listing rather than a uniformly warm one: 71 of the 75 reviews are five stars, the other four are one or two. Most of the volume is not orthopedic. The largest group came for stellate ganglion blocks for PTSD, C-PTSD, dysautonomia, POTS or long COVID, several driving down from Vancouver BC or flying in, and they describe Wood spending an hour or more explaining the procedure before touching a needle. The regenerative injection reviews cover prolotherapy and PRP for decades-old back injuries, knees, shoulders and Ehlers-Danlos instability, and they single out his diagnostic ultrasound again and again. Libby, the practice manager and his wife, is named almost as often as he is. The criticism is narrow and consistent: two patients were left waiting an hour or had a follow-up pushed and never called back, one found the price around 30 percent above comparable providers and higher on the day than on the consult call, and a hip osteoarthritis patient reported 13 months of relief before progressing to bone on bone. Several reviews still use the practice's former name, Northwest Regenerative Orthopedics.
