Expect to pay out of pocket. KRMC says insurance generally will not cover the cost of stem cell treatment because it is still classed as experimental. Anything ordered around it, such as imaging done at another practice, may be handled differently by your plan, so keep those bills separate.

Financing

There is no in-house payment plan. KRMC directs patients to Bank of the Flint Hills, a Kansas bank that takes personal loan applications online, and links to that application from its own FAQ. Confirm the arrangement with the clinic before you apply, since the referral is to an ordinary personal loan rather than a medical credit product.
