What Patients Say

Two international patients describe knee treatment. One had stem cell cartilage regeneration alongside a leg realignment procedure more than a year ago and returned to have the plate and screws removed while rebuilding athletic mobility. The other travelled to Seoul for a knee treatment using umbilical cord blood stem cells and rates the intensive rehabilitation program above the procedure itself. A third reviewer describes a consultation in which the doctor raised his voice and says patients were not treated with dignity.

Experience

My stay at Gangnam JS Hospital in Seoul was a remarkable experience. I traveled to Korea to undergo a knee treatment involving stem cells derived from umbilical cord blood, combined with an intensive rehabilitation program. While the treatment itself was the main reason for my journey, what impressed me most was the quality and intensity of the rehabilitation process.

Experience

I am extremely pleased to have found Gangnam JS Hospital. I underwent their stem cell-based cartilage regeneration and leg realignment procedures for my right knee a little more than a year ago. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made..I came back this year to remove the plate and screws from the leg realignment and continue my journey back to athletic mobility.

Experience

No wonder why scheduling an appointment was so easy. The doctor's attitude was absolutely unacceptable. He was yelling in the room and I had to pay for him to say a single sentence. Absolutely do not come here. Patients are treated without any dignity or humanity. Truly disappointing

How to read these reviews

Every review here comes from someone who says they were treated at Gangnam JS Hospital in Seoul, South Korea. Our moderation team reads each one before it goes up. We check that it describes a real visit and stays inside our content rules. We do not check whether the treatment worked. Gangnam JS Hospital gets no say either way: the clinic cannot approve a review, edit one, or have one taken down. None of the reviews here are treatment-verified yet, so read them as first-hand accounts rather than confirmed records.

What patients are reviewing

Gangnam JS Hospital is a regenerative-medicine provider based in Seoul, South Korea, operating since 2013. The clinic offers Umbilical Cord / Cord-Blood Therapy, Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) Therapy, Allogeneic (donor) Therapy, Regenerative Orthopedics and 1 more. Patients most often come to it for Knee Osteoarthritis, Sports Injuries and Joint Pain. Its listed accreditations are Board-Certified Physicians and Hospital Affiliation. Staff are listed as speaking Korean and English, worth knowing if you are flying in.

Keep that spread in mind while you read. A review of a knee osteoarthritis case tells you little about how the clinic handles the rest of what it offers, and a patient who lives nearby has a very different week from one who flew in for a single visit.

Before you book

Reviews are one input. Ask Gangnam JS Hospital for the rest directly: which cell source and preparation they would use for your condition, who performs the procedure, what the quoted price covers, what follow-up you get, and what evidence they are relying on. Vague answers to any of those are worth noticing.
